Our website www.sambodha.org has now been online since May 2008 with sporadic small changes and enhancements but without much significant change. Currently, we're preparing a major facelift for the page and in this article, I'd like to introduce a few first changes:

First the obvious: We now have a news section with different subjects in both English and German. In this area we publish ongoing information about events, interesting news from our commmunity, as well as general topics that are currently on our minds and that we wish to share.

You may have to look a little for another change - but once you find it you'll realize it's no less significant: We have turned away from Google Calendars and now have our events and registration system which is fully integrated into our portal-system. This has a few significant advantages like the possibility to include events by Aaravindha and our Authorized Teachers directly on their pages. In the list view, you also can see - via little portrait pictures - who's offering the seminar, meditation gathering or workshop. This way, the calendar should have a more personal feeling to it. In the monthly and daily view, you can get a quick overview of the event by clicking on the events name. By clicking the overview's title or the "More..."-link in the overview, you can go to the details of the event. This really includes all you need to know - including location maps and, at least with some of the events, registration for the event.

In order to easily find what you're looking for in the diversity of offerings, we have several categories. When you enter the page, you always see all categories but you can very easily select specific categories. As most of our offerings are currently in German, you'll probably want to select the category USA to find out which events are being offered in the US. Have a look at the calendar!
